Chelsea Clinton announces that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.
According to ABC News Chelsea and Marc sent an email to their friends last Friday, November 27 which reads: "We are sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this part summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holiday! Chelsea & Marc."
Chelsea Clinton, 29, is the only child of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton while Marc Mezvinsky is the son of former Representative Ed Mezvinsky of Iowa District and former Representative Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky of D-Penn. Chelsea and Marc became closer friends in Washington, D.C. and when they both attended at Stanford University.
